MORGAN TO TAKE BREAK FROM ICE HOCKEY

Phantom's Morgan has revealed that he is about to take a break from ice hockey. Morgan, who has established himself as one of the true Phantoms greats since coming through the junior system at the club, has cited the pressures of work and family commitments as the reason behind his shock decision.

It is understood that the 28 year-old - a butcher by profession - has been finding it increasingly difficult to balance the pressures of work, training late at night, and being away from his young family every weekend.

Morgan said: ”Over the years I have given my all to Peterborough hockey, had some tremendous times and worked with some great players and coaches and I wish Phil, Rob, Jon and the guys all the best for the remainder of the season”
